It's Farm Team Season!

Did you feel that nip in the air last night? That chill was mother nature reminding us that in Michigan September is the gateway to Winter. That first snow could be here by next month, or it could hold off until Thanksgiving. But cold air is in the immediate forecast, there's no doubt about it. Fall is when The Farm Team regroups. Summer sends us all off in our own directions, like the far flung northern town of Copper Harbor for some UP racing. Or to neighboring Wisconsin, where Scott and Shawn did battle in the WORS National Series XC event back in June. And of course, Nate "The Farmer" Versluis was hard at work pulling in those crops. This year was maybe the best for Strawberries in Decades, and this Fall's honeycrisp apples are fantastic. So don't wait to stop by the Farm Stand to pick up a half bushel!
This being Farm Team Season, we are now in the planning stages for our winter Snowcross Cylcocross races. They'll be here sooner than you think. It's only 15 weeks until January. We'll be finalizing dates soon and putting registration online WAY earlier than in the past. We'll have a couple of new race sponsors this year, but the down home spirit of the races will remain the same. We'll be keeping it simple and focusing on having fun. In the mean time, here's a little video from last February's race to put you in the mood!
